1/ EMF Yorkshire Autumn Festival
After a decade in the Oxfordshire countryside, the English Music Festival ventured north for the first time last year with a sister event held in Yorkshire. Such was its success that the festival returns for its second autumn installment, with three days of chamber music by composers such as Holst, Ireland, Delius, Stanford, Moeran, Alwyn, Howells, Vaughan Williams, Butterworth and Havergal Brian.
